blog life | introduction

One of my new year's resolutions for 2016 was to take my business to another level, to start a blog. Well, to be completely honest, I have been thinking about what to put on this blog for the entire year. Wondering what my viewers want to read or take from it and how to make it perfect. Realizing that nothing is perfect and I needed to take the leap, that hopefully, the first post will be the hardest I decided to write today about why I’ve chosen this adventure, my website, small business, resource – whatever you want to call it.  So, here's to checking "start blog" off the list and to me being real with you, very real!

I am a creative at heart, I love the feeling that I get when helping brides' visions come to life for their big day! Calligraphy became a role in my life when I was in elementary school when I would try to copy other peoples handwriting because I liked "how pretty it was." When I was planning my wedding, I was in complete shock when the wedding vendor told me it was going to be approximately $1500 - $2000 for wedding invitations, I said, "it's paper!" Not truly appreciating the art and hard work that goes into designing a complete invitation suite, including the envelope calligraphy and the day of details (escort cards, custom signage, table numbers, etc).  So any future bride for calligraphy - I get it, girl, it's expensive but it's well worth it and people really do talk about that little piece of paper! The pros of choosing me for your event: I create custom pieces for each individual client by bringing THEIR visions to life, which will coincide with their venue, their aesthetic and their happily ever after.

Within my blog, I want to help bring you more resources for not only calligraphy, but for lifestyle, health, and fashion. I am a girl who loves simple and I always have people asking/saying to me "where did you get that?! I love it!" "have you tried that bronzer, what do you think?" "you can pull off anything" "where do you shop?" "do you workout" "what kind of diet do you eat" "your house is so cute and cozy" "I love the way you've decorated" and the list goes on. By all means, I'm not saying that my lifestyle, fashion, health, recommendations or everything else on here for that matter will be right for you, but something might and I'm only trying to help whoever I can, whenever I can.

My number one priority is to provide you with the highest quality of stationery goods and provide you with resources of all things I love!!
